Amid a personal transformation journey, Blac Chyna has a different perspective on her role as a mom.
The model—real name Angela White—gave an update on her co-parenting relationship with ex Rob Kardashian, father of their daughter Dream Kardashian, 6, more than a year after engaging in unrelated legal battles with him and his famous family.
When asked by Entertainment Tonight if she and her former fiancé were on a good trajectory during an Aug. 16 interview, Chyna responded, "Yeah, absolutely, for sure. I feel like time heals everything and people change and situations change and you get to see the situation for what it is and the situation is Dream."
The Special Forces: World's Toughest Test star added, "Let's not leave out King, and co-parenting with Michael too," referring to son King Cairo Stevenson, 10, who she shares with ex Tyga (real name Michael Ray Stevenson).
When it comes to her children, there is one thing that matters to Chyna.
"I feel like as long as my kids are good and happy on both sides, that's all I care about as a parent," she continued. "And my kids, they're really smart and they have common sense and they're the sweetest people, like, little people, so they're going to be good just them in general. Like I don't never worry when they go over to the other parent's house, like 'What are they doing over there?' I'm like, 'Nah, my kids are good. They're pretty smart.'"
When asked if things were healing with her ex's family, Chyna told ET, "Yeah, absolutely. I feel like everybody was young. We're still young. So there's more things that we have to worry about aside from just like, why have this feud when we're going to be family forever?'"
E! News has reached out to Rob and Tyga's reps for responses to Chyna's comments and has not heard back.
Chyna's latest co-parenting update comes more than one year after she alleged on Twitter that she received "no support" as a single mother. Tyga wrote in response, "I pay 40k a year for my son school & he lives w me mon- sat. Why would I pay child support lol," while Rob commented, "I pay 37k a year for my daughter's school. handle every single medical expense. I pay for all her extracurricular activities. I have my daughter from Tuesday-Saturday. Why would i pay child support lol."
But as Chyna noted, all parties have since managed to move forward.
The update on her co-parenting relationships also comes one day after she shared a rare photo of herself with Dream on her Instagram Stories. Additionally, her comments come amid a personal journey of major changes in her life, as she has had several cosmetic procedures reversed and last month, celebrated 10 months of sobriety.
Not to mention, Chyna's insight into where she stands with the Kardashians comes on the heels of Rob's sister Khloe Kardashian stirred controversy with comments about Dream's upbringing in July. The Good American founder had said on The Kardashians that she felt like a "third parent" for her niece.
However, following the backlash over her comments, Khloe clarified on Instagram that she loves all her nieces and nephews and that, "Dream and I are particularly close" because she and Rob are too. "We are a tribe and all of us will always be there for one another," she added. "Life is challenging enough."
Khloe also said Rob and Chyna are "doing the best" they can "as a parent and in life."
