Peel-off face masks exfoliate, nourish and moisturize your skin with each one targeting something specific (i.e. a smoother complexion, a natural glow, smaller pores, banished wrinkles, etc.). Another great thing about them is no matter your budget, whether you're a student or a full-time professional, there's one that works well in your price range. It's time to pick the best one for you, so start clicking.
For the price ($7 a bottle), this product is unbeatable. You might not notice anything other than smooth skin immediately after removing the mask, but take a look at your face the following day. Your pores will be noticeably smaller (especially on your chin)!
Disclaimer: If you're sensitive to unusual textures, do not apply this mask with your fingers. It's glue-like consistency might weird you out. Plus, it's a little tough to wash off your hands, so try using a spoon or a popsicle stick when applying.
Recommended Use: Three times a week.
Formula 10.0.6 Get Your Glow On, $7
If your skin is naturally oily and you're prone to acne, this guy's your best bet. Not only does it soak up excess oil, but it's also great for cleaning out your blocked pores then reducing them. Red clay, which exists in this product at a fairly high concentration, is amazing for drawing out the skin's impurities (say goodbye to your acne-prone problem areas) and reducing whatever scars or dents were there. It does hurt a touch when peeling it off, but for the clear-skin results it's totally worth it.
Recommended Use: Twice a week.
First Aid Beauty Skin Rescue Purifying Mask with Red Clay, $30
If you're the type who likes to physically feel the product on your face at work, this is for you. Lay on a nice thin to moderate layer of the stuff and set your timer for 30 minutes. It isn't the easiest to peel off (read: if you were to put duct tape on your face then peel it off, this would be oh too similar), but the results are pretty great. The appearance of dark spots and black heads will decrease and your skin will be feeling great for days. Note: Make sure you have a moisturizer handy afterwards!
Recommended Use: Once - twice a week.
Boscia Luminizing Black Mask, $34
This shimmery gold substance (yes, its coloring is solid gold) is completely worth its price tag. It has the consistency of honey as you're smearing it all over your face, but after the suggested 20 minutes of drying time, you're able to peel off the entire mask...in one go. If you're looking for an all-over glow and brighter complexion (not to mention insanely smooth skin), this is for you.
Golden Door Spa Peel-a-Way Masque, $72
If you can afford it, buy it. This product really does work wonders (meaning: you'll start seeing results after the first use). Consider it a temporary face lift. Any wrinkles or lines on your face will diminish substantially and stay away for up to three whole days. Apply a moderately thick layer to your clean face, wait 20 minutes (or until it fully hardens) then peel it off from the bottom up and enjoy your new, baby-smooth face.
Recommended Use: Once - twice a week.
